IoT Venture is showing its tracking solution for bicycles to a wider expert audience at Embedded World 2018, where Deutsche Telekom AG will be presenting products that start-ups have created based on NB-IoT (narrowband) at Booth 3-429c in Hall 3.

The Telekom booth centres on machine networking solutions which use narrowband IoT. The trade fair takes place between 27 February and 1 March. Deutsche Telekom AG is working with a community of more than 200 companies and start-ups to develop new products. The company is presenting a few of them at the trade fair, including IoT Venture’s NB-IoT tracking solution for e-bikes and S-Pedelecs. The solution’s marketing launch is scheduled for Autumn 2018.

As the NB-IoT network expands in Europe and the US, Telekom is also laying the foundations for its mobile telephone network’s future viability with 5G. 5G technologies are in demand for providing short loading times when transferring large data volumes while NB-IoT plays to its strengths for narrowband applications with low energy input and deep building penetration.
